In 2014, Ukraine was plunged into civil unrest. In 2022, Ukraine was baited into war with Russia, and was then prevented from making peace with Moscow. Now, Ukraine has lost the war that would have been avoided in the first place or ameliorated after it occurred. Why was this unnecessary war fought and who benefits from this morbid war? Also, in this proxy war, what happens to the leader of the losing faction?
If the nation wants to win a war, it should prioritize an alliance with Russia. If the nation wants to become wealthy, it should seek an alliance with the USA (United States of America).

Would Adolf Hitler have been defeated if the Soviet Union did not enter the war against the Nazi regime? Could the United Kingdom have survived if neither the Soviet Union nor the USA declared war against Nazi Germany? Would the Communists have won the Chinese Civil War without the support of the Soviet Union?
The answer to these three questions is an unambiguous no – the Red Army killed over 70% of all German soldiers killed during World War II, the United Kingdom stood no chance against Hitler’s Europe if it was to face Hitler alone, and the Chinese communists could not have won the civil war without the material, training, and logistical support they received from the Red Army in Manchuria following the successful Manchurian Strategic Offensive launched on 9th August 1945 by the 1.57 million Soviet soldiers stationed in the Russian Far East.
Interestingly, the reason why the Empire of Japan surrendered – and allowed its 3 million soldiers to lay down their arms – was not the dropping of the second atomic bomb at Nagasaki on August 9, 1945, but the launch of the Manchurian Campaign by the Soviet Union on the same day. To the political and military elites of the crumbling Japanese Empire, if Japan was to suffer defeat and subjugation – better it be subjugation to the Americans rather than the Russians. Already, the Kwantung Army which had counted 1 million men under arms before the Soviet Manchurian Campaign had been reduced to less than 600,000 soldiers after two weeks of fighting. On August 14, 1945, about 594,000 Japanese soldiers surrendered to the Soviets.
The Germans also preferred the Americans to the Soviets, and thousands of German soldiers lost their lives fighting against Soviet troops in 1945 so as to create an opportunity for 2 million German soldiers (and millions of German civilians) to surrender to Americans who were stationed to the west of the Elbe River. Still, the 6 million Soviet soldiers who crossed into the German Fatherland in January 1945 managed to destroy the Third Reich in a matter of months, albeit in a cruel way that involved mass rape, executions, and the expulsion of about 14.5 million Germans from Central Europe, Prussia, and Eastern Europe. The hoisting of the Soviet Flag over the shell of the Reichstag marked the end of the war in Europe.
Closer to home, it was Russian support of Ethiopia’s Derg during the 1977-78 Ethiopia-Somalia war that allowed the Ethiopian military to defeat the American-backed Somali army. Ethiopians managed to expel the armed Somali invaders by March 1978. Russian support was manifested through airlifting of 18000 Cuban soldiers to Ethiopia to fight alongside soldiers loyal to Mengistu Haile Mariam who led the communist Derg regime.
This Russian support for Derg continued to keep the Derg in power, even during the period when Ethiopia became the People’s Democratic Republic of Ethiopia in 1987. This reliance on Russian support came with a key demerit – Derg survival depended on Russian support.
This explains why the Derg collapsed under armed pressure from Tigrayan and Eritrean rebels immediately after it lost the support of the collapsing Soviet Union in the late 1990s. Derg fell on May 1991 and the Soviet Union collapsed in August 1991. Among the nations that came into existence following the collapse of the Soviet Union are Ukraine and the Russian Federation.
Children of the Kievan Rus
In 882 AD, a Varangian Viking named Rurik established a state whose capital was named Kiev, and was located in modern-day Kyiv in Ukraine. The land (rus) under the dominion of Kyiv came to be known as the Kievan Rus. The Kievan Rus destroyed the Khazar Khaganate in 969AD, thus putting to an end the only Jewish Khaganate that was established after the expulsion of Jews from Roman Judaea following the ill-fated Bar Kokhba rebellion.
The Kievan Rus was destroyed by Mongol savages (whom chroniclers described as Moabites of unknown origin) in 1240. Thereafter, its people were subjugated under Mongol despotism (which came to be described as the Curse of the Mongolian Yoke) for 300 years. This Mongolian Yoke was a monumental disaster that delinked Slavs from Western civilization and plunged them into civilizational darkness that they started to recover from during the era of Peter the Great in 1700 AD. At this time, the Kievan Rus had given birth to Russia and a confederation of Cossack border territories, with the most important Cossack border territory being the Cossack Hetmanate that was established by Bohdan Khmelnytsky – a military commander who led Cossacks who killed over 100,000 Jews according to Edward Flannery in his work, The Anguish of the Jews: Twenty-Three Centuries of Antisemitism.
Jews and Liberation
It is important to note that the formation of both the Kievan Rus and the Cossack Hetmanate was partly accomplished by shedding Jewish blood. The importance of this fact is explained later in this post, and is afterwards related to the current Israel-Hamas War where Russia is considered to have allied itself with Iran to undermine Israeli and American interests in the Middle East.
Understanding this fact partly explains why Jews have an implicit hatred of Russians – a hatred that drove some Jews like the former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom – Benjamin Disraeli – to mask his hatred of Russians and Slavs as pro-Ottomanism or anti-Christian pro-Turkism. However, this Slavophobia by Jews is misplaced.
As Gnostics on antiquity stated, hatred of Jews is due to Jews serving the demiurge (whom the Gnostics described as the Devil or Yahweh) who wants human beings to remain enslaved. The Gnostics warned that any people fighting against tyrants will always end up hating Jews e.g the liberation of the Iberian peninsula from Muslim colonization resulted in the expulsion of Jews following the enactment of the Alhambra decree of 1492. Jews entered England during the Norman Conquest in 1066 and were subsequently employed as tax farmers, a vocation that made Jews loathed by native peasants, which explains why Jews were left in legal limbo following the chartering of the Magna Carta, which clipped the powers of the King and his royalty while promoting basic human rights.
In 1290, Jews were expelled from England. In the same year (1290), Jews were expelled from Wales. These expulsions occurred after the expulsion of Jews from Silesia in 1159 and France in 1182. In Crimea, Jews cooperated with the Mongol invaders of the Golden Horde. As a reward, Jews were allowed to participate in the slave trade. The Jews grew wealthy from trading Christian Slavs to Ottoman Turks, Tartars, and Mongols. This role of Jews in the slave trade is one of the reasons why the Cossacks massacred Jews during the Khmelnytsky uprising that established the Cossack Hetmanate in 1649. This is another case of a war of liberation that required Jews to be killed for the people to free themselves from tyranny. In Black Swan Hamas: Why Israel was Baited Into Defeat and America Baited into Hazard in the Middle East, I explored why advocates of political liberation supported the Palestinian attacks against Israelis since October 7, 2023, and explained that modern decolonization paradigms still consider it necessary to kill Jews for a war of liberation to succeed.
Cossacks and Ukraine
The Cossack Hetmanate was absorbed into the Russian Empire in 1654, and it stayed as part of Russia until 1917 when it declared its autonomy as the Ukrainian People’s Republic. Basically, the successor of the Cossack Hetmanate is Ukraine which was first established as an autonomous region in the Russian Empire. It was shortly thereafter upgraded by anti-communist White Russians into the Second Hetmanate, which declared itself as the Ukrainian State. When the Soviets took control of the Second Hetmanate, they further elevated its legal status in 1919 into a republic within the Soviet Union, with its official designation being the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic. Therefore, in 1919, Ukraine attained the status of a republic.
Ukraine invoked this status during the collapse of the Soviet Union when it became a fully-fledged nation-state. It even appropriated the Coat of Arms of the Kievan Rus as its national Coat of Arms. It is therefore clear that both Ukraine and the Russian Federation consider the Kievan Rus as their ancestor, a fact that played a big role when civil unrest started during the Maidan Uprising in November 2013. The subsequent poor management of this civil unrest set the stage for the Russia-Ukraine war that started in February 2022.
Why Are Ukrainians Fighting Against Russians?
You only have to kick in the door and the whole rotten structure will come crashing down.
Adolf Hitler when expressing his desire to launch a war of extermination against Russians – a war that Hitler ended up losing.
There should be no Russian who goes to sleep without wondering if they’re going to get their throat cut in the middle of the night.

Defeating Russia is in America’s national interest.
, Janusz Bugajski of the Jamestown Foundation writing for the Washington Examiner.
Russians have been victims of Occidental malice since the days of the Russian Empire. When the Russian Empire sought to liberate Christian Slavs from Ottoman domination in 1853, the United Kingdom and France allied with the Ottoman Empire to jointly fight Russians in what is now recognized as the Crimean War.
When Ottoman Turks killed 23,000 Cretan Greeks and 100,000 Bulgarian Christians, as well as thousands of Armenian Christians in the 1870s, Christians called on Russia to save them from Turkish despotism. Equally, when Serbians declared war against Ottoman Turks in 1876, they counted on Europeans to support their cause, even if this support was limited to moral support. However, when Russians came to the rescue of Greeks, Bulgarians, and Serbians; the Jewish prime minister of the United Kingdom, Benjamin Disraeli, declared a policy of pro-Ottomanism, while France provided token support to anti-Russian fighters. It was British protestant preachers who pointed out the harm being done by Disraeli’s pro-Ottoman policies to the well-being of Europe and Christendom in general. It is possible that if Disraeli had not been the British Prime Minister and the Russians had been allowed to liberate Constantinople, then there would have been no Armenian Genocide, no Assyrian Genocide, nor Greek Genocide in Asia Minor and Mesopotamia. Unfortunately, the Turks – with support from some Jews – committed genocide against Armenians, Assyrians, and Greeks during World War 1.
